August 2 – “What Does Social Justice Look Like to a UU Native American?”
Speaker, Rev. Gary McAlpin will lead us through an exploration of this question.
Rev. McAlpin is a UUA Community Minister serving the people of Cherokee County, the heart of the Cherokee Nation. He works to help provide outreach and aid and to support community and families affected by pediatric cancer and environmental climate injustice. June 28 – “UUA General Assembly Sunday Worship Service.”
We’ll gather in the usual manner (enter the UUFF Sunday Service zoom room) at 10:50 and enjoy a streamed worship service from the Unitarian Universalist Association Virtual General Assembly that is happening this weekend. This service will be shared by thousands of Unitarian Universalists across the country and world, linking us in heart and hope. Wonderful speakers and music/musicians (like Emma’s Revolution!) will make this service a real treat!
